MEET CONFETTI POP: A NEW KIND OF PARTY BLOG

Hurrah! Hooray! Today is the day! CONFETTI POP is a brand new site that has me incredibly jealous and oh so happy all at the same time. Why didn't I think of this? It's time to hike up those party pants and get ready to get your DIY on. Confetti Pop is what happens when you put together two incredibly talented stylists who have a knack for parties, Maddy Hague of Somewhere Splendid and Shauna Younge. The site is gorgeous and full of pretty little DIYs that have me wondering which to make first.

I think my favorite is the fringe ornament garland. Fringe + garland? LOVE.  Hop on over to check out their amazing work and keep checking back, there are lots more projects to come...

We just started a new series here called Party Favourites, that's the fancy spelling in honor of our guest today. Party Favorites is a quick and dirty look into what actual party crazed bloggers really do keep on hand to throw their signature AWESOME bashes. Guess who is letting us peek into their toolbox? Will has impeccable style, a drop dead gorgeous blog and his these picks will have you daydreaming of gloriously bold parties. I might have quite a few times while writing this post.

Hello! I'm Will from Bright.Bazaar and I'm delighted to be here sharing my top three party favourites with you all.

1. I keep a little stash of honeycomb tissue balls in stock as they bring instant festive cheer at anytime of year! These playful red, white and blue designs were perfect for the Jubilee year, too!

2. Another party favourite of mine are striped paper straws - I like to mix blue and red colours in the summer for a nautical feel when having drinks out on my deck.

3. Perhaps it's a British thing but I don't think any summer party is complete without bunting. And, for me, it's a case of the more the merrier!

EYE CANDY: INSPIRED WEDDINGS

I was cruising the aisles of the bookstore, one of my favorite things to do, and I happened upon this...

I have mixed emotions about wedding books, but this is not your typical wedding book. It is STUNNING, and GORGEOUS and I want to own two copies so I can cut one up and frame them.  Seriously.  Matthew Robbins Design is a top name in wedding design, he's a major player in weddings and he's one of Martha's go-to guys. But, let's say you don't follow that hub-bub, but you love parties. Buy his newest book, INSPIRED WEDDINGS, it is to die for.  I love to look at books. I buy many merely because they are pretty.  Looking at my shelves, you would think I am a much better cook than I really am.  I buy books simply because they are beautiful. This is one of those. I wish I could say the text is equally stunning, truth is, my budget was busted at ALT, totally worth it, but I haven't bought my copy yet, but my guess is yes. 

The photography and styling is from THUSS + FARRELL, my newest/oldest obsession.  Ever pick something up and say oh, man I love this...and then find out who did it and your mind clicks and says, oh yeah, that's why...they are AWESOME! Stylist Rebecca Thuss is married to equally beyond talented Patrick Farrell.  The result...pure eye candy.  

FONT FRIDAY: ISSUE 26

Happy Friday!  This week's Font Friday pick is a big ol' freebie, that has me by my heart strings, despite it's rather unromantic name, IFC LOS BANDITOS.   I just used this font for my girl C and it fits perfectly with her little sweetie's modern cowgirl fete this weekend. I am especially in love with the uppercase R and N.
