HOW TO MAKE A TINSEL TASSEL GARLAND

Extra tinsel lying around? Why not make a quick and easy garland to ring in the new year? If you can tie a knot, you can make this super easy garland from those boxes of tinsel on the clearance rack. Remember to go for the super cheap kind because it is thinner and makes a better, fluffier tassel. No fringing required.

HAVING A BALL WITH KIDS: NEW YEAR'S EVE IDEAS

This is our last post for the year! I hope you have a lovely weekend but before I go, here are some more DIYs I did for ONE CHARMING PARTY.   Just a couple of ideas to make a very kid friendly, but fun, New Year's.

CUPCAKE BALL TOPPERS Take a bit of honeycomb paper and attach to a straw for a cute ball topper!

Our family favorite: TIC TAC TOE with gumballs! It's a combination of the boy's newest loves in life.

One more quick note, PLEASE take my survey, I'm deep in 2012 planning and I really love your opinions for what goodies to bring to H+H next year.  You can pop over and take it HERE. Happy New Year's!
