HAND DRAWN HIPSTER FONT: TREND HANDMADE

Earlier this year I shared a fabulous font called Trend. Well, the folks over at Latinotype have brought a new version to life, Trend Handmade.  All the awesomeness of the original with a bit of scratchyness built in, as if you sketched this bad boy by hand. I love that kind of stuff. You know, the kind of distressed look that I don't have to do myself. I love design and fonts and know just enough about Illustrator to be dangerous, but I am not a designer. Even if I was, when typographers save me steps modifiying fonts, well, that is my kind of heaven. It's a hipster style font, perfect for labels, logos and t-shirts.This baby is on sale for $19, that is such a super deal!

FUN MODERN HEADLINE FONT: STATION

I love a good crisp headline font and I really love the tall skinny ones. Here's a great deal, Station, a font from Kimmy Kirkwood, has 7 versions and is on sale for $30! I love a good deal. I'm also crazy over fonts that have a great shading. Modern headline fonts are great for banners, placesettings and blog logos. They are also great for those blog images like "We have a winner!" They pop and stand out. Also, because they are pretty clean and modern, as far as fonts go, they match alot of your existing branding.

I couldn't not share the great versions of these - each separately only $7.50. So if one strikes your fancy, snatch it up because introductory font deals don't last forever.  Gosh, look at that number 5. Love it!

A GREAT CLEAN MODERN FONT: HALIS ROUNDED

Happy Friday!!! Check out this great little font family on super sale for $16. Yep. Halis Rounded by Ahmet Altun is a great font that is clean and modern but with a slightly rounded twist. I like how it looks bold but slightly softer, perfect for letterpress applications. Isn't it fun?

I am loving this font both ways. It looks almost completely different, which is why you want to buy whole font families. You can use both of these versions on your blog and there will still be visual harmony, but yet you are achieving two different looks. Isn't that the greatest?

NEW HIPSTER FONT: TREND

Font Friday 2013: living vicariously through fonts. Let's start the year off right with a gorgeous family of fonts, TREND by Latinotype. Layer, layer, layer to your heart's desire or don't and just use the pre-shadowed version. I love it when  you can play with all the pieces separately, but then they have a shortcut version that I can pop in in a hurry.

I think I might love the sans almost as much as the slab. I can't decide. I want them both.

There is even an ornament font in the family...fun. How amazing would this be for letterpress applications? It makes me want to run my fingers all over it.

FONT FRIDAY: PASTICHE BRUSH

Happy Font Friday!!! This morning I have a fun one for you vintage lovers out there. I have a thing for hand lettering from the fifties and sixties and this reminds me of it. All I can do is think of all the fun branding for this slightly modern font. It's a little edgy but still feminine. Enter PASTICHE BRUSH by Dave Rowland.
