I've been meaning to show you my new favorite thing, this 8-flute bud vase from RedEnvelope. They were kind enough to send it to me and I want to show you how just the size and shape of a vessel can make it super easy to make a floral arrangement. I will admit, I don't know how to arrange flowers but this vase makes it super simple and easy.
First, fill the vase half way with water. Then cut your peony stems short, about 3" long and stick them in, criss crossing the stems. Once you have filled most of the holes, add some accents, here I used creeping jenny (one of my favorite plants, I wonder why) and some poppies from my backyard. Who knew it could be that simple?
I love this vase because I can't go wrong, and it is super shallow so when I get the tiniest of bouquets from the boys, I finally have something that will hold those gorgeous wildflowers and pretty weeds. If you have never had a bouquet of dandelions from a miniman, you are missing out on one of life's treasures.
