If you saw the post earlier today, you saw a sneak peek of the world's easiest and fastest bunting. Bunting is traditionally a set of flags on a string. This quickie DIY is perfect if you don't have a lot of time or just need a lot of garland. All you need for this style garland is a pack of flat fold crepe paper and some scissors. Snip Snip Snip. Done. Faster than you can say "30 Days of Garland is the coolest thing ever" you can have an 8 foot bunting.
It is going to take longer to type the directions than it will be for you to make a bunting.
Step 1: Cut a four inch piece of crepe paper fold. Set it so the cut edges are on top and bottom and the folded edges are on the sides. Cut away the folds with a rectangle, leaving only about 3/4 of an inch.
Step 2: Cut out a notch at the bottom to make a flag shape.
Step 3: Unfold. Hang. Party. Repeat.
See, I told you it was easy. I am only still typing because I feel like it was so easy that I want to offer you more. So ends, day 3 of 30 Days Of Garland, a little adventure in crafting. For the next 30 days, I will be sharing a garland DIY every day. Be sure to follow along!
