DIAMONDS: A COOL NEW HIPSTER FONT

Happy Font Friday! Today is another hipster font that will make your heart go all pitter patter. Diamonds by Hannes von Döhren is full of geometric letterforms. It is a little bit rock and roll a little vintage and all awesome. I love the double O in shoot, don't you? It comes in a variety of weights and has a variety of alternates so you can either use a little or a lot. I would probably limit my hipster letters and just use a sprinkling of them here or there. It is kind of the same way I feel about accesories. A little adds a dose of modern, if I dressed head to toe in the latest trends I would look like someone who is trying too hard. The same concept can be applied to cool new fonts, a smidge goes a long way. Something that makes your headings or invite pop without shouting at you that you just got a crazy new font, fit it into your style. It could be just me, I know a lot of people who could rock this full force.
