I love vintage party illustrations. I was infatuated with this images from Betsy's Busy Summer by Carolyn Haywood and had to add a little color. I know the first thing isn't a confetti dispenser, but now I want one anyway. Found via My Vintage Book Collection (in blog form) and you can buy it here.
YUM. I'm looking for a dessert to make for the BBQ tomorrow and I think I will try this recipe with box mix. Yeah, I know, I cheat. It happens.
DOUBLE YUM. Strawberries + Coconut? I need to make these STAT and I heard about them here.
I want my craft room to look like this...all the pretty colors in a row. Sigh.

Any wonderful plans this weekend? We have our monthly BBQ tomorrow AND forecast says it will be sunny! Maybe even in the 80s...Seattle has been wet and cold all summer, we dance when the sun comes out, especially on a weekend. Woo hoo!
