BIRTHDAY GIFT IDEA: PARTY TO GO
Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 6:37AM Give a party. Yep, send your friend a party. My online BFF, Sharon of CUPCAKES AND CUTLERY sent me this kit via snail mail for my birthday back in November. Yes, I realize it is almost March. I was going to post it and lost the photos. Well, I found a few (I think I accidentally deleted somewhen I was cleaning out my cards, sorry Sharon) and isn't this a wonderful idea? I am especially in love with the cake stand, which is hand lettered by Lauren of A FABULOUS FETE. Someone please tell that girl to make a font, or just come to my house and letter everything.
In the box, I got the lovely cake stand, a killer cookbook called SUGAR, SUGAR: EVERY RECIPE HAS A STORY by Kimberly Reiner and Jenna Sanz-Agero (YUM), Barefoot Contessa Cake mix (DOUBLE YUM), a cake server, decorating tubes, a handmade garland "HAPPY CAKE DAY" (she knows I love cake), a bunch of cute printables like the cake banner and some gilded lovelies to do with what I will!
Sharon did this for me last year. She is amazing and so thoughful. Every detail was carefully planned out and spot on. I mean leopard print, gold and green? How can a girl know me so well that I have never met! I heart you Sharon! Thank you!

I'm so glad you liked it! I think Lauren is sick of coming over because I force her to write things whenever she is here. :)
Wow! What an awesome thing to get in the mail. That's pretty amazing stuff. "Like a fat kid loves cake"--way too funny. My dad actually says that sometimes. That was going to be the caption on my son's first birthday picture because he is a little chunk. Made me laugh. :)
This is so sweet. The green with the gold glitter bows would also be perfect for St. Patty's Day!
This package is so you! Love everything about it, especially that cake stand. Off to peruse her shop :)
