I have a thing for garlands. I also have a thing for letter garlands. What I don't have a thing for is cutting out those tiny paper letters. My solution? Clay letters. I have an amazing little letter set of cookie cutters from one of those giant boxes you get on super sale the day after Thanksgiving. You know what I am talking about. The huge box of shapes and such of about 100 cookie cutters, well, the letters in it are awesome. I've done cookie words before, but when we were playing with some clay I thought we'd try making a garland.
It's even easier than I thought because we used air dry clay. It basically means you cut it, smooth it and let dry. Done. Even my boys can help with this DIY, which are always my favorite kind. Check out the full DIY here on Oh Happy Day.
