HOW TO MAKE AN ADVENT CALENDAR WITH A FONT

Happy Font Friday! As I wrap up a few things around the house this weekend, I wanted to share a font that makes the world's easiest advent calendar, no Illustrator or Photoshop necessary.  Heck, you don't even have to mess around in Word for this one. Meet FRYA, by Jonathan Hughes, a great font already encased in a square or circle, ready for use. The font is nice and plain and the numbers are classic. I don't care if you are a seasoned graphic designer, it is still a pain to do more than one number or letter in an object. Centering, sizing, all that fun stuff? This font makes it all super easy.

Did I mention one version is also free? Try FRYA Numeric Circle Closed. Just type in your numbers and size it up to what you need. Print. Cut. Hang.  Love those muslin bags? Try printing out the circles on iron on transfer paper and ironing them on to little bags. Hang them in line as a garland and stuff with little lovelies. I guarantee it will take me longer to write this post than you will take to make an advent calendar.

Don't forget my font loving friends and have one heck of a FABULOUS FRIDAY!
