EASY FAUX CHALKBOARD BACKDROP
Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 10:13AM I like cheap and peppy, like this quick backdrop idea. Don't have the time (or the budget) to find a vintage blackboard? Grab a sheet of black cardstock, they sell it in posterboard size at your local craft store, and rub a piece of chalk (on it's flat side) all over it. Wipe out with a cloth in circular motions. Simple, textured chalkboard-like backdrop for $3 and 5 minutes. A perfectly easy DIY or tabletop backdrop. This also works great as a background...which I *might* have used in a diy for STYLED e-magazine, out this Thursday.

Haven't seen what I made these honeycomb balls for? Check out my DIY over on ONE CHARMING PARTY.
